Impressive performance
West Ham are unfortunate to be 1-0 down at the Etihad.
The Hammers have had more shots than Man City and they've had more of the ball than the hosts.
Mohammed Kudus is causing all sorts of problems out wide and Crysencio Summerville has just got very unlucky.
He capitalised on a Manuel Akanji error and charged through on goal, but the referee awarded a City free-kick to deny him.
Akanji was lucky to have his blushes spared there...
Injury blow
Aston Villa fans, look away now.
Captain John McGinn has come off injured.
He's holding his hamstring and can't continue with Jacob Ramsey taking his place after 20 minutes.
That is a big blow for Villa today as they are already without Morgan Rogers today as he's suspended.
Pau Torres and Diego Carlos are out injured too...
GOAL! Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea: Cole Palmer
NOW CHELSEA ARE IN FRONT!
It's superb from Jadon Sancho who does brilliantly out wide before setting up Cole Palmer.
Sancho dummies a pass and then drives into the box, finding Palmer who tucks into the bottom corner.
The Blues have the lead at Selhurst Park!
All of the praise is going to the former Man United winger after that goal, and rightly so.
It's Sancho's fourth Premier League assist, which is now the most he's ever had in a single season.
If still at United, he'd be third behind Amad Diallo (6) and Bruno Fernandes (5) with that total.
Every other Red Devils player has a maximum of one assist - do they wish they'd have kept him at the club?
GOAL! Man City 1-0 West Ham: Savinho
MAN CITY TAKE THE LEAD!
It's Savinho who scores yet again!
The Brazilian shoots and his effort takes a huge deflection into the back of the net to put City in front.
It comes off Vladimir Coufal, and it may go down as an own goal.
West Ham had had some decent chances beforehand, but they didn't take them and they're now 1-0 down.
In the build-up to the goal, the ball loops into the air on the edge of the box and Edson Alvarez ducks out of a header...
Perry Groves live on talkSPORT: "That's shocking defending from Alvarez.
"It's that bad, if I was Julen Lopetegui, I'd be taking Alvarez off already.
"He ducks and turns away from it."
GOAL! Southampton 0-1 Brentford: Kevin Schade
There's the first goal of the afternoon!
Kevin Schade scores the opening for Brentford!
He beats the offside trap and flicks the ball past an onrushing Aaron Ramsdale, finding the back of the net.
Southampton are in desperate need of some points as they sit rooted at the bottom of the Premier League.
But that's not a good start for Ivan Juric's side.
Early booking
No time wasted by Jarrad Branthwaite.
He goes in strong on Evanilson and he's booked in two minutes for Everton against Bournemouth.
Elsewhere, Man City and West Ham have both had half chances and Chelsea have just missed a chance through Jadon Sancho.
We're goalless in the opening stages of the 3pms.
Underway!
Here we go then, we're underway around the grounds!
Manchester City are looking to make it two wins in two as they try to bounce back from their dismal run.
Meanwhile, at Selhurst Park, Chelsea are facing Crystal Palace aiming to climb back up to third after three poor results.
Leicester are desperate for a win at out-of-form Aston Villa while Southampton need three points against Brentford.
Bournemouth host Everton and they will be confident of increasing their unbeaten run to move further up the table.

FT: Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
It's all over, Newcastle hold on!
That's the Magpies' fifth-straight Premier League win.
They have now moved level with the top four.
As for Tottenham, they are now winless in four, as they remain 11th and could now drop as low as 14th.
Ange Postecoglou's side improved in the second half after losing their lead during a disappointing first.
But despite their pressure, they weren't able to find an equaliser and they're beaten at home yet again.
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
Dominic Solanke comes mighty close!
He flicks on a diving header and it loops towards goal, just landing on top of the net as Martin Dubravka scrambled!
That may well be their last chance of the game.
Harvey Barnes has just been denied by Brandon Austin at the other end, as Newcastle look to wrap this up.
Five minutes of added time to go.
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
We're heading into TEN MINUTES of added time.
Can Tottenham find an equaliser? They've got time to do so!
Newcastle will still be there on the break though, so Spurs will need to be careful when throwing everything at it.
England manager Thomas Tuchel has left the stadium now, to make his way to watch Brighton vs Arsenal later today.
There's a chance he could miss a dramatic finish!
CHANCE! Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
Oh wow! How have Tottenham not scored?!
Brennan Johnson has a free shot on the right-hand side of the box, but he gets his finish all wrong!
It's drilled right across the box and going wide...
However, Sergio Reguilon is there to pick it up and he then shoots, before getting his shot terribly wrong too!
Reguilon fires an effort back across goal again, with the ball this time evading everyone and going out for a throw-in.
Spurs should be level, Ange Postecoglou can't believe it!
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
The hosts are piling on the pressure here.
We've just entered the final 10 minutes of this game and it's Tottenham who are looking likely to score.
They've totally dominated the latter parts of this second half and Newcastle and camped in their own half.
James Maddison is dictating things after coming on and his side have looked a lot more dangerous since.
In fact, Maddison just came inches away from an equaliser as he curled a brilliant effort wide!

Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
There's just been a slight worry for Tottenham.
Third-choice goalkeeper Brandon Austin who is making his first Spurs appearance today goes down.
He looks to have taken a blow to the chest as he claimed a cross.
The fans groan as he lies down on the pitch and asks for treatment, as they know how unfortunate they have been with injuries.
Austin is able to carry on in the end, but Alfie Whiteman was ready on the bench to come on if needed.
It would be incredibly unlucky to have three goalkeepers out.
We've got just under 20 minutes left in this game.
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
It remains 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Lucad Bergvall has just been taken off and the home fans aren't happy about it, as the teenager has been brilliant.
That won't give Ange Postecoglou any more supporters.
Before that change, Brennan Johnson hit the post from a tight angle for Spurs, while at the other end there was a penalty shout.
Anthony Gordon was left bloodied after running into the shoulder of Dejan Kulusevski in the box.
He gets some treatment and returns while VAR decide no spot-kick will be given to the visitors.
Stuart Pearce live on talkSPORT: "This is such a difficult judgement call here - what is a foul and what isn’t?
"If you run into somebody with your shoulder. it’s got to be a foul, hasn’t it?
"Whether it was accidental or not, he’s taken him out in the box. That’s a penalty, for me."
Team news!

There was a rumour of illness going around pre-match.
And Radu Dragusin was said to be one of the Tottenham players to be suffering with a potential bug.
That could be why he's been taken off at half time.
The change has forced Djed Spence to play at centre-back next to Archie Gray, with both players out-of-positon.
It's yet another new defensive partnership and Newcastle's main man Alexander Isak will be licking his lips.
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
We're back underway in north London!
Tottenham have won just one of their last 11 Premier League games in which they trailed at half time, losing 10.
That one victory was against Aston Villa last November.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are unbeaten in their last 14 games in which they have led at half time in the top-flight.
Ange Postecoglou needs his Spurs side to defy those stats and come back to claim three points here.
Another loss could see them drop to 14th should other results this weekend not go their way...
Sergio Reguilon has come on at the break for Radu Dragusin, who really struggled in that first half.
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle HALF-TIME
The whistle goes on a first 45 minutes which started with a flurry of goals and then that ended with another for the visitors.
Dominic Solanke's early header had given the depleted Spurs the perfect start inside four minutes following Pedro Porro's cross.
However, it's been a picture-perfect response from Newcastle, who restored parity two minutes later through Anthony Gordon.
The hosts will have complaints about Joelinton's supposed handball in the build-up but VAR allowed it to stand and from there, it's been all Newcastle.
Eddie Howe will then have been delighted to see Alexander Isak continue his recent scoring run by tapping home from close range.
The Swedish striker has scored more Premier League goals against Tottenham than against any other opponent (six).
Stuart Pearce told talkSPORT: "Ange [Postecoglou] will think at half-time that he needs more threat from his wide players… and he’s got his captain Sonny sat behind him!"
Credit: Getty GOAL!! Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle Alexander Isak
HE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT LONG TO MAKE UP FOR HIS ERROR!
That's seven in each of his last seven Premier League appearances for the Swede but he owes a lot of it to Radu Dragusin.
Again, it's a drilled low ball from Jacob Murphy that causes havoc in the Spurs backline but this time it's a white shirt that gets to the ball first.
Dragusin is wrong-footed and sticks a desperate boot at the cross while on the swivel but off-balance can't register the contact he wants.
All the defender can do is prod the ball against Isak standing a yard behind him who gets the decisive touch to take it over the line.
Isak is now the third Newcastle player to score in seven consecutive PL apps after Alan Shearer (Sep-Nov 1996) and Joe Willock (Apr-May 2021).

CHANCE! Tottenham 1-1 Newcastle
How has Alexander Isak not put the Magpies in front?!
It's a glorious free-flowing move from the visitors as Tino Livramento weaves through a crowd of bodies down the right wing.
He feeds the ball to Jacob Murphy towards the byline and the latter drills a teasing low delivery across the six-yard box.
Isak unmarked at the near post sticks out a foot but directs it wide of the far post with Anthony Gordon also inches away from a tap-in.
Premier League release statement
The Premier League have revealed the reason VAR did not overturn Newcastle’s equaliser against Tottenham.
A post on their Match Centre X account read: “The referee’s call of goal was confirmed by VAR, who checked for a potential handball by Joelinton in the build-up and deemed that his arm was by his side, in a natural position and the contact was accidental.”
Meanwhile, Stuart Pearce agreed with the decision on commentary.
He told talkSPORT: “It’s certainly come off the hand of Joelinton, but he’s not meant in any way shape or form. It’s not deliberate.
“His arm was outside of his natural silhouette, it wasn't banged to his side, but it was in a natural position.
“For me, that was not deliberate handball. He's in real close quarters with Bergvall and he couldn't move his hand out of the way.
“But the one thing you can say, Gordon finished it brilliantly across the goalkeeper, Austin had no chance.
“Tottenham were playing out from the back very quickly, they’ve got caught out again and all of a sudden the ball's in the back of the net.”
Stuart Peace reacts to handball claim
This clash is live on talkSPORT and England legend Pearce believes Newcastle's equaliser had grounds to stand.
He told Sam Matterface: “I think they’ve got this right!
“That was not a deliberate handball, for me. His arm was in a natural position and he couldn’t do anything about it.
“And that aside, what a finish it was by Anthony Gordon, a fabulous finish from him.”
On Anthony Gordon's finish, Pearce added to talkSPORT: “Nice of Dragusin to make it easy and comfortable for his new goalkeeper…
“They overdo it, Spurs. Newcastle, fans, everyone watching this game can smell the danger - the only ones who can't are the ones in the white shirts in the back line, it seems.”
Credit: AFP GOAL!! Tottenham 1-1 Newcastle Anthony Gordon
GORDON HAS INSTANTLY EQUALISED IN CONTROVERSIAL CIRCUMSTANCES!
There was just 140 seconds between Tottenham's opening goal and Newcastle's equaliser.
Lucas Bergvall attempts to break out of the Tottenham half but his pass around Joelinton flicks up and strikes the bottom of the Brazilian's hand.
The ricochet falls kindly for the latter's countryman Bruno Guimaraes on the edge of the Spurs box who spins and feeds Gordon.
It's then an expert finish from the former Everton winger as he drills a low strike across Brandon Austin into the far bottom corner.
VAR take a look while Newcastle await with baited breath - it clearly strikes Joelinton's hand but the placement is judged to have been in a natural position.
The goal stands! 1-1!
- Tottenham v Newcastle is the fourth PL game this season to see both sides score within the opening six minutes after Brentford v Wolves (October), West Ham v Ipswich (October) and Wolves v Bournemouth (Nov).
