Andy Reid's moustache was the real star of the show on Saturday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins 26-7 in freezing temperatures at Arrowhead Stadium to punch their ticket to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

If anyone needed proof of just how cold the conditions were, one needn't look any further than the Chiefs head coach.

Temperatures were so cold in Kansas City that Reid's moustache had completely frozen over by halftime.

Cameras repeatedly panned to 'Big Red' throughout the first half as the icicles around his top lip continued to grow.

"Look at the icicles forming," NBC announcer Jason Garrett joked to on-air partner Mike Tirico.

Reid's facial fuzz went viral on social media, and even the man himself was able to joke about it after the game.

The 65-year-old dropped the perfect one liner when asked about it by reporters.

"I guess the worst thing that could happen is it falls off," he joked.

With a kickoff temperature of minus-4 degrees, the contest was the fourth-coldest game in NFL history.

Factoring in the wind chill, temperatures plummet to minus-27 at one point in the night.

The brutal temperatures made it difficult for both teams but the home team adjusted far better than the visitors.

Reid's team jumped out to a 16—7 at halftime and never looked like surrendering their lead after the break.

The result was never really in doubt and most people on social media were more concerned about getting updates on Reid's tash.

The official NFL account on X, formerly Twitter, even joined in on the fun with a "Andy Reid moustache update" tweet.

Thankfully for Reid and the Chiefs it wasn't too much of a distraction as they moved on to the divisional round.

They will find out who they play on Monday.
